With wool fibers of just 5 mm and a semi-hard foam middle part, you get the Wool Pad that can really smooth out some paint. Zvizzer has focused on making a disc that gives the roughest possible cut that you can ever make with a Dual Action polisher. This is why the dial of your choice if you are working with hard paint where you want to go further, or if you have paint with lots and lots of deep wash scratches.
